Our Medical Team
Dr. Hari P. Saini, M.D.
Dr. Hari Saini is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who specializes in venous, arterial, and coronary interventions. Dr. Saini began practicing cardiology in 1998 and completed his interventional cardiology
boards in 2000 at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He and his family moved to Fayetteville, NC in 2003 where he began practicing interventional cardiology. Dr. Saini opened Carolina Heart and Leg Center, P.A. in December 2013.
Dr. Fedele, M.D.
Dr. Fedele is triple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He specializes in interventional cardiology and interventional peripheral procedures of the legs, arms, and kidneys. Dr.Fedele attended college at Johns Hopkins University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to receive his medical degree from Cornell University where he was in the top 10 percent of his class. Dr. Fedele received his medicine and cardiology training at Brown University where he co-authored numerous publications which pioneered the treatment of heart attacks which are used today. He later joined the faculty at Temple University and the prestigious Lahey Clinic in Boston. Dr. Fedele has over 25 years of experience doing complex heart and peripheral interventions. He brings this wealth of education, knowledge, and experience to Carolina Heart and Leg Center P.A. He welcomes making Fayetteville his new home with his three children-Michael, Alexandra, and Juliana. His interests include hiking, tennis, swimming, weight and competitive triathlon training. He looks forward to pursuing his professional and personal interests in the Fayetteville area.
Mayur J. Lakhani, MD
Dr. Lakhani is a board certified Interventional Cardiologist. He holds numerous board certifications including Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Diseases fellowship from Staten Island University Hospital in New York. Then he underwent Interventional Cardiology fellowship at very busy and prestigious program of Mount Sinai Medical Center in Manhattan, NY. He achieved numerous awards as resident / fellow of the year during his training. Subsequently, he worked as an Interventional Cardiologist and was the Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in upstate New York. He was an integral part of the cardiology fellowship training program there. He specializes in trans-radial cardiac catheterization and complex coronary interventions. He will be joining the Carolina Heart and Leg Center in late summer of 2018.
Laura Wells, PA-C
Laura has been a long time resident of Fort Bragg and Fayetteville. She is a 2014 graduate of the Methodist College Physician Assistant program and is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and
the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants. Laura joined Carolina Heart And Leg Center, P.A. in January 2015. Laura exercises great compassion and understanding for her patients and believes that the
best medicine starts with a strong patient relationship.
Matthew McEntire, PA-C
Matthew is a North Carolina native from Asheville. He received his undergraduate degree from North Carolina University while remaining in the top ten-percent of his class. He remains an avid supporter of the NC
State Wolfpack. Matthew graduated from Methodist University’s Physician Assistant Program, and has also served in Belize providing medical mission work. He joined Carolina Heart And Leg Center, P.A. in 2017 and is passionate about helping patients.
