Carolina Heart & Leg Center, P.A. also provides comprehensive diagnostics and treatments for all types of vein disorders in the safety and convenience of a modern medical suite.

OUR MEDICAL TEAM

Dr. Hari P. Saini, M.D.

Dr. Hari Saini is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who specializes in venous, arterial, and coronary interventions. Dr. Saini began practicing cardiology in 1998 and completed his interventional cardiology boards in 2000 at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. He and his family moved to Fayetteville, NC in 2003 where he began practicing interventional cardiology. Dr. Saini opened Carolina Heart and Leg Center, P.A. in December 2013.

Dr. Fedele, M.D.

Dr. Fedele is triple-board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology. He specializes in interventional cardiology and interventional peripheral procedures of the legs, arms, and kidneys. Dr.Fedele attended college at Johns Hopkins University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He went on to receive his medical degree from Cornell University where he was in the top 10 percent of his class. Dr. Fedele received his medicine and cardiology training at Brown University where he co-authored numerous publications which pioneered the treatment of heart attacks which are used today. He later joined the faculty at Temple University and the prestigious Lahey Clinic in Boston. Dr. Fedele has over 25 years of experience doing complex heart and peripheral interventions. He brings this wealth of education, knowledge, and experience to Carolina Heart and Leg Center P.A. He welcomes making Fayetteville his new home with his three children-Michael, Alexandra, and Juliana. His interests include hiking, tennis, swimming, weight and competitive triathlon training. He looks forward to pursuing his professional and personal interests in the Fayetteville area.

Kimalisa Locklear, FNP-C

Kim is a North Carolina native from Robeson County.  She has been an RN for over 18 years working in a variety of healthcare areas with her main focus in cardiology.  She received her undergraduate degree from George Mason University and is a 2019 Family Nurse Practitioner graduate of South University.  Kim has been with Carolina Heart and Leg Center since 2013.  She is known and loved by many patients and excited to continue to provide healthcare in her new role as an Advanced Practice Provider.

Dr. Haile Jones, M.D.

Dr. Haile Jones attended Temple University School of Medicine where he completed medical school and residency. He attended Drexel University Hahnemann Hospital for his Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowship. Dr. Jones is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who specializes in cardiovascular disease, intervention cardiology and internal medicine. He has 16 years of experience and he and his family call North Carolina home.

Rhonda Thomas, MSN, APRN, ACNPC-AG

Rhonda thomas was born and raised in Fayetteville. She was an ER nurse for over 16 years as well as doing community health and wound care, and nursing instructor at Central Carolina community college. Rhonda’s undergraduate degree is from The University of Mount Olive. She attended Walden University where she graduated in 2020. She completed her Nurse Practitioner program specializing in Acute Care and Adult Gerontology. She is very passionate about the care of the adult-geriatric population and community health. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, softball and time spent at the coast.

Domonique Koomson, PA-C

Domonique Battle Koomson attended Winston Salem State University where she majored in Biology with a minor in biochemistry. After graduating from WSSU, Domonique studied gastrointestinal medicine and the health benefits of herbal treatment options at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She later returned to North Carolina and obtained a Master’s Degree in Physiology from North Carolina State University before beginning PA School at Methodist University. She and her husband enjoy traveling, hiking, playing tennis, and playing scrabble. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
